# Genexis Connect vs SmPay

The clearest difference is update cadence: SmPay at every 2 weeks against Genexis Connect's every 13 months. Genexis Connect's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Genexis Connect ships an update every 13 months, SmPay every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
