# Razer Cortex Mobile vs GlassMate

The clearest difference is rating: Razer Cortex Mobile at 4.6 against GlassMate's 3.3. Razer Cortex Mobile also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (3.5K vs 11). GlassMate's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (63% vs 35%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GlassMate sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Razer Cortex Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

Razer Cortex Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Razer Cortex Mobile has 3.5K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Razer Cortex Mobile's written reviews are positive against 63% of GlassMate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Razer Cortex Mobile ships an update every 2 months, GlassMate weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
