# TaskCow vs DOS Focus

The clearest difference is update cadence: TaskCow at every 3 weeks against DOS Focus's every 3 months. TaskCow also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TaskCow sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DOS Focus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TaskCow ships an update every 3 weeks, DOS Focus every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
