# RAM® vs CarRx by Elo GPS

RAM® and CarRx by Elo GPS both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 63% of CarRx by Elo GPS's written reviews are positive against 31% of RAM®'s. CarRx by Elo GPS also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). RAM®'s advantage is ratings volume (95K vs 2K) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for RAM® against 4.8 for CarRx by Elo GPS. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RAM® has 95K ratings behind it against 2K, so its average is the more settled of the two.
