# RAM® vs Key Patrol PRO

The clearest difference is monetization model: Key Patrol PRO at free against RAM®'s free with in-app purchases. Key Patrol PRO also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). RAM®'s advantage is ratings volume (94K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Key Patrol PRO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RAM® has 94K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RAM® ships an update monthly, Key Patrol PRO weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
