# Magic Fluids vs Lucky Widgets

The clearest difference is rating: Lucky Widgets at 5.0 against Magic Fluids's 4.5. Lucky Widgets also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). Magic Fluids's advantage is ratings volume (4.7K vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Fluids sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Lucky Widgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lucky Widgets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic Fluids has 4.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Magic Fluids ships an update every 3 months, Lucky Widgets every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
