# JackBe vs Homeland Stores

The clearest difference is review sentiment: JackBe at 58% against Homeland Stores's 29%. JackBe also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Homeland Stores's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 39) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Homeland Stores holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Homeland Stores has 1.9K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of JackBe's written reviews are positive against 29% of Homeland Stores's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

JackBe ships an update every 3 weeks, Homeland Stores every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
