# Trend Micro ScamCheck vs ViralU

The clearest difference is rating: ViralU at 5.0 against Trend Micro ScamCheck's 4.6. Trend Micro ScamCheck's advantage is ratings volume (2.4K vs 6) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trend Micro ScamCheck sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and ViralU sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
