# Video Teleprompter vs Viva Prompter

The clearest difference is rating: Video Teleprompter at 5.0 against Viva Prompter's 3.7. Viva Prompter's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Teleprompter sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Viva Prompter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Video Teleprompter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Video Teleprompter's written reviews are positive against 50% of Viva Prompter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Video Teleprompter ships an update every 6 weeks, Viva Prompter weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
