# OmniHome vs QR

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: OmniHome at none against QR's 3. OmniHome also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.4). QR's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QR sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. OmniHome asks for nothing beyond the download.

OmniHome ships an update every 2 months, QR fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
