# Luckynote vs Brain3k

Luckynote and Brain3k both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Luckynote's written reviews are positive against 0% of Brain3k's. Luckynote also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). Brain3k's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Luckynote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Brain3k sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brain3k holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Luckynote's written reviews are positive against 0% of Brain3k's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Luckynote ships an update every 3 days, Brain3k weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
