# Flex Dance vs Dancing Dress

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flex Dance at none against Dancing Dress's 4. Flex Dance also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 88%). Dancing Dress's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 34 months) and ratings volume (2.7K vs 9). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dancing Dress sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Flex Dance asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dancing Dress holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dancing Dress has 2.7K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Flex Dance's written reviews are positive against 88% of Dancing Dress's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flex Dance ships an update every 34 months, Dancing Dress every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
