# Rain Sounds· vs Clock Alarm++

The clearest difference is rating: Rain Sounds· at 4.5 against Clock Alarm++'s 4.2. Rain Sounds· also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). Clock Alarm++'s advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 123). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rain Sounds· holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clock Alarm++ has 1.5K ratings behind it against 123, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Rain Sounds·'s written reviews are positive against 44% of Clock Alarm++'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rain Sounds· ships an update monthly, Clock Alarm++ every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
