# HDReye vs Lightcraft Jetset

The clearest difference is ratings volume: HDReye at 773 against Lightcraft Jetset's 26. HDReye also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Lightcraft Jetset's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 29%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HDReye sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Lightcraft Jetset sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HDReye holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HDReye has 773 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of HDReye's written reviews are positive against 40% of Lightcraft Jetset's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HDReye ships an update monthly, Lightcraft Jetset every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
