# Qscan vs Scanner

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Scanner at 100% against Qscan's 24%. Scanner also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Qscan sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Scanner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Qscan ships an update every 3 months, Scanner every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
