# Qscan vs Cleany

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Cleany at 100% against Qscan's 24%. Cleany also leads on rating (4.7 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (33 vs 1). Qscan's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Qscan sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Cleany sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cleany holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cleany has 33 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 24% of Qscan's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cleany's.

Qscan ships an update every 3 months, Cleany every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
