# Lyrics Play vs Mood

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Mood at none against Lyrics Play's 1. Lyrics Play's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lyrics Play sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Mood asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lyrics Play ships an update fortnightly, Mood every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
