# LiveEQ vs Proper Strides

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Proper Strides at 67% against LiveEQ's 23%. Proper Strides also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). LiveEQ's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.7) and in-app purchases (none vs 5). On price, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Proper Strides sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. LiveEQ asks for nothing beyond the download.

LiveEQ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LiveEQ has 731 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of LiveEQ's written reviews are positive against 67% of Proper Strides's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LiveEQ ships an update monthly, Proper Strides weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
