# Lippert Connect vs SoundExtreme

The clearest difference is rating: Lippert Connect at 4.4 against SoundExtreme's 2.5. Lippert Connect also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (154 vs 23). SoundExtreme's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 11%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lippert Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lippert Connect has 154 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Lippert Connect's written reviews are positive against 33% of SoundExtreme's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lippert Connect ships an update every 3 weeks, SoundExtreme every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
