# Sundrip vs Roti

Sundrip and Roti both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Sundrip's written reviews are positive against 28% of Roti's. Sundrip also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Roti's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Sundrip against 4.8 for Roti. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roti has 1.9K ratings behind it against 183, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Sundrip's written reviews are positive against 28% of Roti's.

Sundrip ships an update monthly, Roti weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
