# Traba vs shiftNOW

Traba and shiftNOW both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 42% of shiftNOW's written reviews are positive against 23% of Traba's. shiftNOW also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 weeks) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Traba's advantage is ratings volume (6.4K vs 483) and chart position (#203 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Traba against 4.6 for shiftNOW. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Traba has 6.4K ratings behind it against 483, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 23% of Traba's written reviews are positive against 42% of shiftNOW's.
