# Tennisphere vs USTA Flex

Tennisphere and USTA Flex both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Tennisphere's written reviews are positive against 41% of USTA Flex's. Tennisphere also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). USTA Flex's advantage is ratings volume (642 vs 11) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Tennisphere against 4.8 for USTA Flex. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USTA Flex has 642 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Tennisphere's written reviews are positive against 41% of USTA Flex's.

Tennisphere ships an update monthly, USTA Flex fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
