# PureClock vs Super Flip Clock

The clearest difference is rating: PureClock at 4.6 against Super Flip Clock's 4.0. PureClock also leads on ratings volume (44 vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Super Flip Clock's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PureClock sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Super Flip Clock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.29 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PureClock holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PureClock has 44 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PureClock ships an update fortnightly, Super Flip Clock every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
