# PureClock vs Clock Pocket

The clearest difference is monetization model: PureClock at free with in-app purchases against Clock Pocket's subscription. PureClock also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.1). Clock Pocket's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PureClock sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Clock Pocket sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
