# PureClock vs Does Today Count

The clearest difference is ads: Does Today Count at none against PureClock's shown. PureClock's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PureClock sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Does Today Count sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PureClock ships an update fortnightly, Does Today Count monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
