# The Falling Ball Game vs Lightning Round!

The clearest difference is rating: The Falling Ball Game at 4.7 against Lightning Round!'s 4.4. The Falling Ball Game also leads on ratings volume (597 vs 49) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). Lightning Round!'s advantage is review sentiment (65% vs 44%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Falling Ball Game sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Lightning Round! sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Falling Ball Game holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Falling Ball Game has 597 ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of The Falling Ball Game's written reviews are positive against 65% of Lightning Round!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
