# AWS Exam Prep 2026 vs AWS Developer (DVAC02)

The clearest difference is monetization model: AWS Developer (DVAC02) at free with in-app purchases against AWS Exam Prep 2026's subscription. AWS Developer (DVAC02) also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). AWS Exam Prep 2026's advantage is ratings volume (146 vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AWS Exam Prep 2026 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and AWS Developer (DVAC02) sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
