# FNF Piano vs Funky Maker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FNF Piano at none against Funky Maker's 2. FNF Piano also leads on rating (4.0 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 88). Funky Maker's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and chart position there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Funky Maker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. FNF Piano asks for nothing beyond the download.

FNF Piano holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FNF Piano has 1.2K ratings behind it against 88, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of FNF Piano's written reviews are positive against 66% of Funky Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FNF Piano ships an update every 3 months, Funky Maker weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
