# CLEXI vs SMS Forwarder

The clearest difference is rating: SMS Forwarder at 4.4 against CLEXI's 3.7. SMS Forwarder also leads on ratings volume (44 vs 3). CLEXI's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and review sentiment (50% vs 30%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SMS Forwarder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. CLEXI asks for nothing beyond the download.

SMS Forwarder holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SMS Forwarder has 44 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of CLEXI's written reviews are positive against 30% of SMS Forwarder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
