# MOD Boutique vs SHUSHOP

The clearest difference is ads: MOD Boutique at none against SHUSHOP's shown. MOD Boutique also leads on review sentiment (73% vs 44%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). SHUSHOP's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MOD Boutique against 4.9 for SHUSHOP. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MOD Boutique has 3.7K ratings behind it against 696, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of MOD Boutique's written reviews are positive against 44% of SHUSHOP's.

MOD Boutique ships an update every 4 months, SHUSHOP every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
