# Supernotes vs Constella

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Supernotes at 122 against Constella's 10. Constella's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Supernotes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.00 per month and Constella sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Supernotes against 4.8 for Constella. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Supernotes has 122 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 91% of Supernotes's written reviews are positive against 88% of Constella's.

Supernotes ships an update monthly, Constella every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
