# Supernotes vs Valor Live

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Valor Live at none against Supernotes's 3. Valor Live also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and review sentiment (100% vs 91%). Supernotes's advantage is ratings volume (122 vs 11) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Supernotes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.00 per month. Valor Live asks for nothing beyond the download.

Valor Live holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Supernotes has 122 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two.
