# Supernotes vs Sensefold

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Supernotes at 127 against Sensefold's 1. Supernotes also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Sensefold's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Supernotes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.00 per month and Sensefold sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sensefold holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Supernotes has 127 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Supernotes ships an update monthly, Sensefold every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
