# Supernotes vs Lucca

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Supernotes at 127 against Lucca's 1. Supernotes also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.4). Lucca's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Supernotes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.00 per month and Lucca sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $29.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lucca holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Supernotes has 127 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Supernotes ships an update monthly, Lucca every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
