# BoldVoice vs COGV

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: COGV at none against BoldVoice's 10. COGV also leads on ads (none vs shown). BoldVoice's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (54K vs 1). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BoldVoice sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. COGV asks for nothing beyond the download.

COGV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BoldVoice has 54K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BoldVoice ships an update every 2 days, COGV every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
