# iTennisLadder vs USTA Flex

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iTennisLadder at 100% against USTA Flex's 41%. USTA Flex's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 9 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

USTA Flex holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USTA Flex has 642 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of iTennisLadder's written reviews are positive against 41% of USTA Flex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iTennisLadder ships an update every 9 months, USTA Flex fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
