# Peztio vs Trace

The clearest difference is update cadence: Trace at every 9 days against Peztio's every 6 weeks. Peztio's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Peztio ships an update every 6 weeks, Trace every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
