# Typing Land vs Cognora

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cognora at every 9 days against Typing Land's every 6 weeks. Typing Land's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Typing Land sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cognora sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Typing Land ships an update every 6 weeks, Cognora every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
