# ELEC vs QR4All

The clearest difference is ads: QR4All at none against ELEC's shown. QR4All also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). ELEC's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ELEC ships an update monthly, QR4All every 5 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
