# Forma Pilates vs Freedom On Demand

The clearest difference is monetization model: Freedom On Demand at free with in-app purchases against Forma Pilates's subscription. Freedom On Demand also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 86%). Forma Pilates's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forma Pilates sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $50.00 per month and Freedom On Demand sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $22.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Forma Pilates ships an update every 10 days, Freedom On Demand every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
