# Limelite App vs Source & Cast

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Limelite App at none against Source & Cast's 2. Source & Cast's advantage is ratings volume (711 vs 11) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Source & Cast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Limelite App asks for nothing beyond the download.

Source & Cast holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Source & Cast has 711 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Limelite App's written reviews are positive against 38% of Source & Cast's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
