# Screenseer vs HP

The clearest difference is rating: Screenseer at 5.0 against HP's 4.6. Screenseer also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.2). HP's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (62 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Screenseer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HP has 62 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Screenseer ships an update every 2 months, HP every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
