# KeyboardKit vs The Big Keyboard

The clearest difference is price: KeyboardKit at Free against The Big Keyboard's $1.99. KeyboardKit also leads on rating (4.4 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (77 vs 13). The Big Keyboard's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 days). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

KeyboardKit is free to download; The Big Keyboard costs $1.99 up front. KeyboardKit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. The Big Keyboard asks for nothing beyond the download.

KeyboardKit holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KeyboardKit has 77 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of KeyboardKit's written reviews are positive against 64% of The Big Keyboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
