# Synsys vs Coyote Connect

The clearest difference is update cadence: Coyote Connect at every 2 days against Synsys's every 4 months. Coyote Connect also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Synsys ships an update every 4 months, Coyote Connect every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
