# MATSUKO vs HoloTuberKit

The clearest difference is update cadence: HoloTuberKit at every 2 days against MATSUKO's every 5 weeks. HoloTuberKit also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MATSUKO ships an update every 5 weeks, HoloTuberKit every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
