# CBBI vs Banter Bubbles

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Banter Bubbles at 46 against CBBI's 1. CBBI's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Banter Bubbles holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Banter Bubbles has 46 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of CBBI's written reviews are positive against 47% of Banter Bubbles's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CBBI ships an update every 6 days, Banter Bubbles every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
