# Rent.Fun vs Fox Cities P.A.C.

The clearest difference is rating: Rent.Fun at 4.7 against Fox Cities P.A.C.'s 3.9. Rent.Fun also leads on ratings volume (877 vs 14) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Fox Cities P.A.C.'s advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (50% vs 33%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rent.Fun holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rent.Fun has 877 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Rent.Fun's written reviews are positive against 50% of Fox Cities P.A.C.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rent.Fun ships an update every 3 months, Fox Cities P.A.C. fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
