# AGS Collector vs TCG Value Scanner

The clearest difference is rating: TCG Value Scanner at 4.7 against AGS Collector's 3.2. TCG Value Scanner also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 98). AGS Collector's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and review sentiment (46% vs 27%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

TCG Value Scanner holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TCG Value Scanner has 1.2K ratings behind it against 98, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of AGS Collector's written reviews are positive against 27% of TCG Value Scanner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
