# Dermazoom vs USB Camera pro

The clearest difference is rating: Dermazoom at 5.0 against USB Camera pro's 3.2. Dermazoom also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). USB Camera pro's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dermazoom holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USB Camera pro has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dermazoom ships an update every 13 months, USB Camera pro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
