# ZENGGE vs YS Audio

The clearest difference is rating: YS Audio at 3.5 against ZENGGE's 2.8. YS Audio also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.3). ZENGGE's advantage is review sentiment (31% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 45 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YS Audio holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZENGGE has 487 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of ZENGGE's written reviews are positive against 0% of YS Audio's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ZENGGE ships an update every 2 months, YS Audio every 45 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
